..it’s been a decade since Bruce Wayne hung up his cape, following most of the other superheroes who had been forced into retirement. Facing the downside of middle age, a restless Bruce Wayne pacifies his frustration with race cars and liquor – but the bat still beckons as he watches his city fall prey to gangs of barbaric criminals known as The Mutants.
The return of Harvey Dent as Two-Face finally prompts Wayne to once again don the Dark Knight’s cowl, and his dramatic capture of the villain returns him to crime-fighting – simultaneously making him the target of law enforcement and the new hope for a desolate Gotham City. Particularly inspired is a teenage girl named Carrie, who adopts the persona of Robin and ultimately saves Batman from a brutal attack by the Mutant leader. Armed with a new sidekick, and re-energized with a definitive purpose, the Dark Knight returns to protect Gotham from foes new…and old.
Batman voiced by Peter Weller, Joining Weller is David Selby as Commissioner Gordon, Ariel Winter as Robin, Wade Williams as Two-Face and Michael McKean as Dr. Bartholomew Wolper.

James Holmes, the 24 year old alleged Colorado theatre massacre shooter, was charged on Monday with 142 counts, including 12 counts of first-degree murder & 116 counts of attempted murder. The Arapahoe County District Attorney's office charged Holmes with two counts for each victim — one for carrying out the crime "after deliberation" & the second for "malice manifesting extreme indifference to human life." Holmes was greeted in the courtroom by a multitude of images of "The Bat," as many of the victims & victims' families attending the hearing wore Batman t-shirts.

Word came out via Variety that Warner Bros is looking to tone down the violence in the new cartoon series "Beware" (of the Batman).
Enlightened by the events following the Colorado shootings, WB wants to take a closer look at the series. They've asked for a review of the show's content to ensure they are socially considerate after the tragic events that happened during a midnight screening of The Dark Knight Rises.
Now, no one from WB has commented, but you can rest assured meetings and phone calls have taken place.
My Thoughts: It is a show for kids. But remember, when we were kids we knew when Elmer Fudd was trying to shoot Bugs Bunny it was all fun and games. Do not insult children by treating them with kid gloves. The gunman was clearly not in his right mind and needs psychiatric help.
But I do see WB's side in this situation. They are sensitive to this traumatic event & don't want to draw any bad publicity. It's a tough situation that can put WB between a rock and a hard place.

Now, the CW has confirmed that longtime Batman villain & Suicide Squad member, Deadshot will take on the Emerald Archer in the third episode of the series called "Lone Gunmen." No casting information for the character has been revealed at the moment.
