Well maybe a little bit but no major spoilers to be alerted by, but this week IMAX 3D did post up some news on the Superman movie.
Man of Steel: An IMAX 3D Experience
Release Date: June 14, 2013.
In the pantheon of superheroes, Superman is the most recognized and revered character of all time. Clark Kent/Kal-El (Henry Cavill) is a young twenty-something journalist who feels alienated by powers beyond his imagination. Transported years ago to Earth from Krypton, a highly advanced, distant planet, Clark struggles with the ultimate question 'Why am I here?' Shaped by the values of his adoptive parents Martha (Diane Lane) and Jonathan Kent (Kevin Costner), Clark discovers having extraordinary abilities means making difficult decisions. When the world is in dire need of stability, an even greater threat emerges. Clark must become a Man of Steel, to protect the people he loves and shine as the world's beacon of hope – Superman.
The IMAX release of Man of Steel will be digitally re-mastered into the image and sound quality of The IMAX Experience® with proprietary IMAX DMR® (Digital Re-mastering) technology. The crystal-clear images coupled with IMAX's customized theatre geometry and powerful digital audio create a unique environment that will make audiences feel as if they are in the movie.
In a video posted today by MTV, the newest incarnation of Oliver Queen, Stephen Amell, discusses the versatility of the costume he'll be wearing on Arrow as well as the training involved to get him into crime-fighting shape.

Green Lantern Movie Sypnopis
In a universe as vast as it is mysterious, a small but powerful force has existed for centuries. Protectors of peace and justice, they are called the Green Lantern Corps. A brotherhood of warriors sworn to keep intergalactic order, each Green Lantern wears a ring that grants him superpowers. But when a new enemy called Parallax threatens to destroy the balance of power in the Universe, their fate and the fate of Earth lie in the hands of their newest recruit, the first human ever selected: Hal Jordan.
Hal is a gifted and cocky test pilot, but the Green Lanterns have little respect for humans, who have never harnessed the infinite powers of the ring before. But Hal is clearly the missing piece to the puzzle, and along with his determination and willpower, he has one thing no member of the Corps has ever had: humanity. With the encouragement of fellow pilot and childhood sweetheart Carol Ferris, if Hal can quickly master his new powers and find the courage to overcome his fears, he may prove to be not only the key to defeating Parallax…he will become the greatest Green Lantern of all.
Today, DC Comics dropped a huge bomb on DC comic fans. starting this august DC Comics will hit the reset button and start all 52 titles all with a fresh new issue 1 numbering. so what this means is that 75 years of comics will be reset to issue 1, and this could be great if you are new to comics but for ol'school comic fans this is not sitting well with them.
First off this comes off as a gimmick and a quick media attention move to try something new, however this may bring in new readers and collectors which is good for the comic book industry but come issue 12 those new readers might leave just like they have shown for a 12 issue first runs. then you still have the hardcore comic book buyers who where there through issue 300, 400, 500, 600, 700, 800 and are still there for this revamp of issue 1 hoopla.
For me i don't know what to think, i know getting this media attention is good like when superman died and brought a lot of fans but they left soon after his death and were not here for his rebirth. is this a moment like that? a part of me is angry and a part of me is excited, but there is no doubt I'm a 100% DC fanboy and will be here till i take my last breath. i just hope this turns out great for DC and it's editors for making this bold move.
here is the official press release-
Tuesday, May 31st, 2011
By David Hyde
This year, change is in the air at DC Comics.
On Wednesday, August 31st, DC Comics will launch a historic renumbering of the entire DC Universe line of comic books with 52 first issues, including the release of JUSTICE LEAGUE by NEW YORK TIMES bestselling writer and DC Entertainment Chief Creative Officer Geoff Johns and bestselling artist and DC Comics Co-Publisher Jim Lee. The publication of JUSTICE LEAGUE issue 1 will launch day-and-date digital publishing for all these ongoing titles, making DC Comics the first of the two major American publishers to release all of its superhero comic book titles digitally the same day as in print.
DC Comics will only publish two comic books on August 31st: the final issue of this summer’s comic book mini-series FLASHPOINT and the first issue of JUSTICE LEAGUE by Johns and Lee, two of the most distinguished and popular contemporary comic book creators, who will be collaborating for the first time. Together they will offer a contemporary take on the origin of the comic book industry’s premier superhero team.
In the hours, days and weeks to come, we’ll have more news about the other titles. Tomorrow, we’ll hear from Co-Publishers Dan DiDio and Jim Lee about this momentous occasion. Keep checking THE SOURCE for updates about the other first issues.
Tonight DCUO's New Game Director Mark Anderson showed us a glimpse of a new area and possible a new raid area, it's superman's home away from home. Fortress of Solitude!!!
This is a very nice DLC that looks to be coming in update 3. here is a history of the Fortress of Solitude-
The Fortress of Solitude is the occasional headquarters of Superman in DC Comics. Its predecessor, Superman's "Secret Citadel", first appeared in Superman #17, where it was said to be built into a mountain on the outskirts of Metropolis. However, the formal introduction of the Fortress took place in the story "The Super-Key to Fort Superman", published in Action Comics #241 (June 1958).
Traditionally, the Fortress of Solitude is located in the Arctic, though more recent versions of the Superman comics have placed the Fortress in other locations, including the Antarctic, the Andes and the Amazon rainforest. The general public in Superman's world is either unaware or at best only vaguely aware of the existence of the Fortress, with its location kept secret from all but Superman's closest friends and allies (such as Lois Lane and Batman). A trademark of the Fortress is that it contains a memorial statue of Jor-El and Lara, Superman's Kryptonian parents, holding a large globe of Krypton. Although Superman has living quarters at the Fortress, his main residence is still Clark Kent's apartment in Metropolis.
Check back for more details from tonight's event.

In shocking fashion DC Universe Online announced on the official page that they will be going from the many servers they currently have to single server shards. The small post released the following statement.
We have heard your concerns about queue times on the servers. This game is about people playing and fighting together so we feel your pain. Sometime in the next month, we are going to test new technology to meld all of our US and European PC and PS3 servers into four Super-Servers, one for each platform in each region. This will allow for more opportunities to queue and participate in other group related game mechanics. We are hoping to get this on our PC Test Server to start testing, again, sometime in the next month and then will tune it up for the PS3 platform as well. As soon as we know more about testing and timing we will let you know. But, believe this – it is one of our top priorities. Again, thanks for your patience, we appreciate your support.
We’ll have more details at a future date.
With this information, it begs the question on if the game is having a rapidly declining user base. Will this mean that the end of subscription service could be coming soon also to a move to free-to-play? Time will only tell on that. But we will keep up date with any info we come across.
